David Bonner leads Facade Estimators UK, overseeing estimating delivery and providing senior commercial input across all projects. With over 45 years in the construction industry and close to 30 years specialising in façade systems, David brings deep technical knowledge and commercial judgement to the business.

David has spent the majority of his career working within Tier 1 subcontractor environments, managing and supporting estimating resources under live tender pressures. His role at Facade Estimators UK is to lead the estimating function, ensure consistency of approach, and maintain commercial robustness across all tender submissions.

His experience spans new build, refurbishment, and full recladding projects, with façade package values ranging from £100,000 to £10 million. David has extensive knowledge of SFS systems through to full wall build-ups, including rainscreen cladding, panelised systems, and brick slip façades.

Estimating outputs are produced using structured internal templates and processes, with David providing senior oversight and review. Digital take-offs are completed using Bluebeam, supported by commercial planning input using Asta Powerproject, structured BOQs in Excel, and established procurement workflows.

At 67, David offers the benefit of long-term industry exposure, practical problem-solving, and a calm, methodical leadership style. Facade Estimators UK operates as a scalable estimating resource, capable of supporting multiple tenders concurrently while maintaining quality and commercial control.
